Excel

Yesterday, we covered Excel in class. It takes time to get used to 2007 - it always is the same - we are creatures of habits and, most of the time, we don't like changes. A little bit of disorientation, looking for features that are no longer where they used to be. We created a grade book, which I hope would be a good testimony about the usefulness of the tool for those who were reluctant to learn how to use Excel. I am glad I learned more about using the charts. I have used Excel mostly for keeping track of budgets, and lists of all kind. I can think of other uses for it.

Experience creating a blog for EDT610

Today's experience was easy since this is my third blog for EDT classes. However, there was a problem with signing in - the system did not recognize me and wanted me to create a new account. Eventually, it let me in. Now that I have several blogs for classes, it becomes a little difficult to manage the different blogs, and more importantly to keep up with posting for each class. But I welcome the opportunity - that is why I am in class. It seems the class today is doing very well with the blog.
